Customizable Faces with the Xbox 360 Camera?

New games arriving such as Rainbow Six Las Vegas are having support for the xbox 360 camera to where you can take a picture of your face, as well as your profile, and it will be placed onto your character during multiplayer games. This way instead of just hearing your friends, youll be able to look at their face and tell who they are as well. Will Gears of War consider or support this type of customization?

I don't think they'll consider the camera stuff. The characters are there for immersion. They don't want to lose that. Rainbow Six was never about the characters or story.

Plus, Gears graphics on the characters faces are too good. The "add your face" feature would look at of place!

and who says that the added in faces will look any worse? they could be matched to exsisting face types and placed in to look as close to you as possible.

just thought it would be a pretty cool edition to the benchmark game that gears of war is already going to provide.

I don't think it's is needed. The characters already look badass, and i don't think pictures of twelve year old kids on 30+ bodies with huge muscles would look right.

They never turn out right, especially if you think about how long the team spends creating the faces of the characters. I few pictures with a mini camera isnt gonna work as good.

I don't like the idea. The characters in MP work, because they relate to the story, you can't just add new characters.

Customized faces would have to be a little more sophisticated than that...As in a program that would take your picture with the 360 camera, and find the key points on your face (eyes, nose, mouth) then match it to a face generator, kind of like in games like oblivion or tiger woods. Im not talking about taking a picture and slapping it onto where your characters face is, because then I also agree, I wouldnt want to see ballsacks running around.
