On GPF, how to get bach to the server quickest?

Hi,

I'm plagued by UT2004 demo crashes - I get them every time I play.

Is there a quick way to get back to the server I was on...or do I have to write its name down when I start....and then try to find it again....

AMD 1800+
1 GB Dual channel Ram
Nvidia 64Meg MX440

Getting a new (better) graphics card soon - hopefully that'll help

You could right-click on it in the server browser before you go in and add it to your favourites. Then, post crash, look it up in favourites.

look in ut2004.log (in ut2004demo/system directory) and see what the cause of the crash is.
It'd be better to find out why you're crashing. chances are, if the server you were on is popular (low ping) someone will have jumped in the spot you vacated by the time you're back in the game ready to re-join, or you may even re-join the server but get assigned to the other team
