Default Nréw PC that not many had yet, noly small problems

    Hi.
I'm having an Athlon 3200+, ASUS k8V DeKuxe mobo, ATI 9700Pro, and the demo (UT2k4) seems to run just fine, except one little error. My COU slows down to 800 Mhz when the full power is not used, and UT2k3 and UT2k4 has a litte difficult by that.
If I start the game and start instant action, all (me and the bots rare running really fast, and sís the shots, It like the game trieds to run mus faster, stop the game, and imidely starts it again, and everything is bagk to normal. Could this has something to to with my CPU turning itself up and down?

Othervice I only have one more thing to say: THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR UT 2004. i HOPE IT WILL BT AVAILABLE IN MY COUNTRY VERY SOON. I guess the finished game will have prettiere yexyures, and some more eye-candy.

Dut do domebody know a solution to this CPU/UT2kx, so I don't have to start the game twice?

What you need to do is turn off the "stepping" feature of your processor. Unfortunately there's no good way to do this.

I've had success in the past by disabling all power management features in the BIOS. Also, depending on your system you may have some expanded tabs in your Power section of the Control Panel that deal with "stepping" the processor, and you can make some adjustments there to disable it.
