Making Music for Unreal 2K4?Programs?

Hey all what programs are being used to create the music for the Levels?And is there a Freeware version that will do the same thing?What format is ogg.?

Also I bought Goldwave, very nice program for Audio Editing. I use that to save music as an ogg. file and it works in UT2k3 and 2k4! Try it www.goldwave.com

Do they allow Mp3 format? I dont think they do. I dont know mabe.

I ended up over at the Vorbis site thru the other link and Yeah they let you convert over to OGG from MP3 but they say that you dont want too because of the Loss of data,but since I havent played around with the converter yet I really dont know but I will soon,I am ready to start blastin out some heavy ChunkyMetal style...
