Default unable to read file off cd

i just got a new hard drive not so long ago, and i just tried to install ut2003 on it, but it pops up an error saying

"unable to read (somefile). if you are installing from a cd, please check the disk and try again."

    can someone help me?

It could be a dirty, scratched, or damaged CD.

You can try buying a CD repairer... There are two kinds. One that is liquid and fills in the scratches, or one than buffs the scratches out of the CDs..

In both cases they don't work all that well. you would be better off buying UT2003 all over again. Just try to keep better care of your CD's next time around.

Buying brand new copies works better.

You can try either repair methos I had mentioned but the odds of that fixxing the problem is low. I wouldn't reccomend it, but that's up to you to try.

Not really. You can pick up a new copy for $20, the CD repairer costs $20+ anyways. Just buy a new copy.
