help creating maps

After playing a lot of map mods, I want to try and create my own... any tips or guides out there that could get me started in the right direction?

Theres plenty of guides out there to help you, sorry but i don't know any links.

check in the level editing forum, thats more the place to look than here.

Angel Mapper has some good tutorials floating about, try and track her down and ask the URL.

BTW- Do a search in the level editing forum as well, its bound to come up with some results.

If you want to start the lonley and treacherous road of mapping then here is where you want to start.
No nonsense, easy to read and friendly, just what your after.

Lots of us started there, since the new editor came out anyway.

Follow his examples and you will have a great basis for the future
