Does any one know if there wil be split screen multiplayer and or ss coop
Causwe i dont have xbox live yet because i need a computer and internet at my house.

ihave the a real nice computer and dial up but its at my grandmas house down the street adn she isnt about to give up her $2000 comp even though she doesnt use it

There is going to be split-screen single player co-op, i'm not sure about muliplayer yet, im sure someone will reply with some info.

I've heard Cliffy say in more than 2 interviews that it will have split screen CO-OP. My question is will side by side be available as an option because over and under would look very silly on a high def screens.

YES!!! i dont have live either and think the multiplayer sounds fun. i also cant wait for the co op. but i cant stand side by side on top seems a lot better to me then again i dont have hd so who knows.

They usually have the option for switching from over and under to side by side.

Thanks for the info guys I hve been tryin to find out fora while and im sure they will have an option for the screen split HAlo2 didnt but if you change your xbox screen ration to widescree it chand the split to vertical

Ya i guess i just figured. It will pretty much have ss multiplayer because that is one of the main reasons some guys buy a game. Or do you guys mean ss multiplayer over live?

Splitscreen over Xbox Live works fine. I have done it with a couple of friends a few times.

does anyone know if it is 2 or 4 people. my gues is two cause four just doesnt seem to fit the game if you know what i mean so probably just two but i hope four just for those rare times when i have a bunch of people over does anyone know?

I actually prefer Lan parties over XBL, usually there is alot of drinks to go around and some pizza as well! Plus you can slap someone if they curbstomp you!

does it have like a deathmatch without live? i know they have the team DM on live but i was wondering if theire will be a 2 player like deathmatch w/o live?

almost definetly most games do although its normally not much fun but better than nothing it would probably be like the normal game but just like one or two people on each side instead of 4.

I'm guessing it does have 4 player split screen, just because most games have it and it would be really dissappointing for people without live not to be able to play multiplayer. I doubt that EPIC would leave out split screen. There is no reason not to have it.

well we know there will be split screen MP, atleast 2 ppl but we are not sure about 4.........

I really hope there will be four player splitcreen mult. Can anyone from epic answer are questions please i need to know i Dont have xbl yet. And system link is a no go because all my friends are poor and dont have 360.

true, but i had so much fun playing halo with my friends on split screens, so i hope GoW has it too!

^^ i think it would be better for EPIC and everyone who gets GoW because everyone HAS to have the screen looking the way they want. me, personally, i'd rather just have it focused on my guy, no split-screen, because i dont care about where my friends are running to unless it concerns me!

i dont mean to sound selfish either, im just saying....because when everyone plays online, if its a really intense match, every person is gonna be focusing on theirselves, and not on what their friends are doing.. so i think it would be a good choice to have it as an option like RawrInATor said.

Only time Id want it to go split screen is if my friend is Down But Not Out
So I can go save his loser butt

thats a good idea. only for when your teammate is "down but not out" or when he dies should it switch to split-screen. i think that would be a better idea then split-screen for the whole match.

if your playing team DM and your partner dies, it would go to split-screen to show you he died, and make you more aware that you need to fight harder in order to come out victorious!
