    Default dlink di-713p ping na

I got a little problem I really hope someone can help me out. I can see the server and can play on the LAN fine. But everyone outside the LAN see's a NA by the ping. Also when they try and connect to the server it goes to unreal://my-external-ip/index.ut2 and not my virtual ip. Any one have any ideas what it could be. The dlink site has nothing in the support area that tells me what could be the problem. I belive if there was some way to hardcode the correct ip it would work fine.

    Cool

    Small update:

I read on a few places that a few ports need to be open. I opened ports 7777-7779 , 27902, 6667 for the chat. I'm still getting the NA beside my ping. Any ideas?

    I had the same prob..
if you check on d links web site under your router, look for how to connect to gamespy, should give you the proper ports ect to add in.

    here is an example.

How can I use Gamespy behind my D-Link router?

You will need the IP address of the computer you are using for this service.

How can I find the IP address of my computer?

Step 1 Open your web browser and enter the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1). Enter admin for the username and your password (blank by default).

Step 2 Click on Advanced tab and then click Virtual Server on the left side.

Step 3 You will create 2 entries.

Step 4 Click Enabled and enter Settings:
    NAME - Gamespy1
PRIVATE IP - The IP address of your computer that you are running Gamespy from.
    PROTOCOL TYPE - Both
    PRIVATE PORT - 3783
    PUBLIC PORT - 3783
    SCHEDULE - Always.

    Click Apply and then continue.

    Step 5 Enter 2nd entry:
    Click Enabled
    NAME - Gamespy2
PRIVATE IP - The IP address of your computer that you are running Gamespy from.
    PROTOCOL TYPE - Both
    PRIVATE PORT - 6500
    PUBLIC PORT - 6500
    SCHEDULE - Always.

    Click Apply and then continue.

Note: You may be required to open additional ports depending on the game you are playing. If the above ports do not work, then enable DMZ on the router. If the program still does not work when in DMZ, then there is a software configuration problem.

hope this helps.... it helped me.

Ok I opened the 3783 and 6500 port I get the same NA. I could not find DMZ anywhere in my router admin. I unplugged the router and pluged this computer directly to the cable modem and the server works fine. I get a ping and anyone can join. Are there other ports or something that I need to enable on this router. Or is there a way to bind this game so it only sees a certain ip. Anyone else have a idea?
