    Default AnimNotify

    Hello,

    Im new to the community, so if this is in the wrong forum, I'm sorry.

    Im working on getting AnimNotify working on an animation, Ive run into a few walls i hope you can help me navigate.

    On the UDN site, @ This Page it says that AnimNotify_Effect should be able to spawn an effect class and attach it to which ever bone I like. However in practice, Im finding that i cannot attach an effect to any bone succesfully.

    When i set the Attach Parameter to false, the given effect spawns at the given bone, but does not attach to the bone (as expected) but when attach = true, the effect does spawn at all.

    Heres what I mean: -=Pic=- In both these instances, I've setup an AnimNotify_Effect at frame 50, with an AnimNotify_DestroyEffect at frame 100 with bExpireParticles = true .

    On top of the above, i cannot get the effect to show in game. Im trying to accomplish the effect similar to the speed combo, with particles trailing off of the players heels.

    If anyone can offer any suggestions, much appreciation.

    Update:

    P.E.B.K.A.C = Problem Existed Between Keyboard And Chair.

    I was working in the wrong set of animations, once I started on the right set, AnimNotify worked.
