    Default Deciphering the benchmark results?

    OK, I heard people talkin' about flyby and botmatch benchmarks, so I checked out the "benchmark" directory and found the bat files to run them. Easy enough.

    Then I found the benchmark.log file and it wasn't too hard to figure out that's where my results were.

    But I can't for the life of me figure out what all the numbers mean.

    I got this result for the antalus flyby:
    47.565285 / 177.192978 / 658.649719 fps -- Score = 177.287552 rand[7524]

    I have no idea what those guys mean.

    47.56.... = ??

    177.19... = ??

    658.65 = ?? (it's labeled FPS but seems kinda high. I do have a nice system, but that still seems too high to actually be FPS)

    177.28... = score. OK, sounds like this is the overall score for the benchmark. Is this the number that people will commonly refer to when they talk about running this benchmark?

    rand[7524] = ??

    i'm about as much in the dark as you but i'm willing to take a guess that the first 3 numbers are minimum/average/max FPS. You probably got the 658 from one moment when all the game was rendering was the sky cause the camerea was pointing upwards. 177 still seems a little high for an average FPS. Score probably is an overall rating, it's preety close to your average FPS (if that is waht that is) as for the 7542, no idea at all. Just keep in mind that hese are guesses
