When I go and play online, some servers make me download a file called 'announcer evil' It takes forever and I have to re-download it everytime. Any advice on where I can download it and what it is?

Second question - when I connect to a server and I don't have the map, the program start to download it from the server....Where the hell does it go? Is it a temp file?

the announcer evil file is part of the ep[ic bonus pak for UT2003...to make things easier just DL and install the bonus pak...you can find a DL+info about it @ http://www.unrealtournament2003.com

when you join a server that is on a map you do not have....you download it from that server....no way to get around this except just wiat until it finishes downloading...to DL the mpas faster...try write down the name of the map and download it via the internet @ a site like http://www.ut2003hq.com

Anything downloaded from a server goes to your Cache folder. To extract whatever you downloaded, get a cache-clearing utility like CacheKiller or UTCacheRaper.
