Mandrake 9.1 people do not have to comment out the floppy for mandrake 9.1 because it does not seem to get in the way with the supermount system. Then simply put in your first CD ROM labeled DISK #1 and not Play Disk and double click on the CDROM icon on the desktop. The folder will come up and mount your CDROM. Ok you do need to be root in the cosole before you enter that command su root will do this nicely and you enter in the password. TheOneRing said to do this. And it works before you run the installer. export SETUP_CDROM=/mnt/cdrom/ I copied my install program from the third disk to the hard drive before I started by the way. It makes it much easier. Run the installer from the console that is now at root level. Now when it asks you for a new disk simply close out your window that has the CD contents in it and then put in the new disk and click the icon again. Then click yes to the CDROM

Play Disk = Disk #1
Disk #1 = Disk #2
Disk # 2 = Disk #3.

That should finish you out.
