Does that have anything to do with 2k3? Just curious, never heard of those file types.

Winace associates itself with .ARC files so I assume it can open them. I have no idea about .PAK, I've never seen one.

    Exclamation Files types

The .PAk extension is for various games. I have a game called "The Thing" and I want to port over some of the models to Ut2003 but I cannot extract the compressed files. I have looked everywhere too.

I've tried Pakscape and a few others on the net, no go.

I also have another game that bombed due to poor netcode called "revolution" They have some really nice player models too. This game is compressed in .ARC files

WinAce does not do it, I tried it a thousand times, it does recognize the file and goes to extract it... nothing comes out. Pretty weird for a file that's 472 MB huh

    The serach continues...

    Thanks for checking this out

    Red face

The only .pak-files I know are used by the Quake-engine series.
But those are disguised zip-files I think.

Anything else (especially if it is a part of a game) is probably some kind of custom-format designed to prevent people from stealing copyrighted content without permission ...

Just get yourself a hex-editor and plenty of time ... you're going to need it. That is unless people that know the game know of any editing-tools.
