Multiplayer Maps in GoW

Does anyone know how many multiplayer maps will be released for the GoW launch?

Epic, any details on the setting or surroundings of these maps? Just curious, the anticipation is killing me. How about a personal sneak preview, for one of the Raleigh natives (me)

I'm going on record to say 8 multiplayer maps. But now you'll have to figure out which record.

I would have to say at least 8 maps. And then use the marketplace for map updates for the game. Hopefully it does not take them forever to put a new map out like the Halo map pack.

What would you guys think if they were to make a map editor for GoW? My idea would be for ranked matches you would stick with the maps that you are given, but for regular matches, you can test out maps you have made, kind of like Far Cry.

I've never played a game with an online game with a map editor feature, is it like a map editor in a Tony Hawk game.

Pretty much like that, if you get some time on your hand, rent Far Cry Instincts for the 360 and try it out, it not that bad of a game.

i highly doubt they will have a map-maker, and i am guessing 6-10 maps at launch and then maybe 3-6 more

I am 99% sure they will NOT have a mapmaker. Still I'm guessin tho so you never know.

But if you blow his head sky high you wont be able to curb stomp him!!!!

With the map editior, i was thinking something where you can just make different cover positions by moving things like the vehicles to create different situations.
