    Cool BR-JupiterStation [pics]

Thought I'd post some pics of the map I've been working on I should be ready to release a beta soon, maybe later tonight or tommorrow. This is the first map I've released that I created from scratch, so let's please try to keep the laughter to a minimum

    Looks cool IMO.

Sometimes wide open BR maps are good!

Just make sure you limit the LG ammo, and if you have a shock rifle in the map, place them more towards the middle, to help stop some of the shock sniping.

    NOW RELEASE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I kind of like open BR maps. On this one in particular, there will probably be a lot of ball resets as people try to throw the ball and the TL to it. The landing areas at the base are raised from the central platform area and there is no railing, so unless you have really good aim, the ball will go over the side and reset.

Also, there is only one LG on the level and only 2 charges for it. I personally hate the LG, but hey, a level like this kinda begs for it, but at least I think I've limited it somewhat.

I'm still having issues with Bot paths and the FPS, when you stand on one side, like in your base, and then look across the whole map, it kills the FPS. I don't know how to counter-act this though

[EDIT] I'm still trying to decide if I should make it a low-grav map. It would probably do really good as low-grav, but I don't really care for low-grav. Perhaps make it normal and then server admins can add the low-grav mutator?

For the FPS, maybe put some obstacles in the middle or some black fog.......hmmm...tricky question...

Yeah a CTF version could probably be heaps of fun

But make it low grav as standard, it sorta looks like a low grav map
