    yes, THANKYOU for the weapon/gore decal choice..

    the rocket decals were kinda annoying...pitch black globs all over the nice red/green/purple paint.

    Thanks for this mut. Will install on my server this weekend.

    How about a shot on an outdoorsy level with helium corpses on. Do thay float all the way up to the sky box?

    They will carry on floating until they run out of time.

    If you set the deres time multiplicator to 999, then they will pretty much float forever. So in answer to your question, yes, they will float up to and through the skybox.

    I'm thinking this version is going to be the final version.

    how do i configure the DeRez time and such? and how long hte bodies stay there. doesnt seem to want to work on Single player/online guessing i still have it on default....any help would be appreciated......feel free to flame as well....the noobs deserve it i reckon

    does that mean that the server i tried doesnt have the most updated version of this mutator or am i way off base. Seems like that is the problem, but im still guessing...

    Will, could you name your packages with built numbers or release numbers from now on to prevent this problem?

    Well I just can't helium corpses to work.

    I thought I had version problems, so I actually uninstalled UT2003, re-installed & patched to 2166. Still, when I launch an instant action game & add helium corpses, they 'weigh lightly' but they do not float away.

    As far as running this on a ded server & tweaking, you'll need the ini file that is generated when you run it via the normal client, namely...

    [GibLife.GibLife]
    BodysScale=10.000000
    GibsScale=5.000000
    DeResScale=10.000000
    BloodDecalStay=True
    OtherDecalStay=False
    DeRes=True
    DeathEffects=True

    Well I re-uninstalled & installed a virgin (2107) install & lo & behold floaty cadavers doesn't work like i remember either. Musta been in the leak, that the bodies actually floated away. I even downloaded the demo to check, but that mutator was not included with the demo.

    Unless something's majorly fubar with my machine, although I can't fathom what would manifest it's self in this manner

    Thumbs up great mutator

    I was just playing deathball with your mut and I noticed two bugs. First one was I kept getting telefragged after killing. The other one is, if I crouched while standing over a corpse, I couldn't stand or jump untill I moved away from it.

    could I make a request?

    make it so if de-res is off, you have an option to have the explosion (As you now do) but also that after the explosion, it leaves a skeleton.

    it would help those that have some framerate issues, but also keep the carnage.

    Here is part of the code for this nice mutator. The UTCMS is capable of displaying stuff like this .... just FYI. Might be useful for coders who are seeking for snippets.

    This Mutator is a prime example (to me, at the least) on why not to "judge a book by it's cover"... (or by the subject title of the thread, more accurately)

    I assumed by the name that this had something to do with Instagib....so I never checked it out. I'm not a big fan of IG.... I finally did this morning.

    Boy was I wrong...nothing to do with IG at all...and this IS one heck of a fun lil' mutator. Some of those screenies from the posts above (2nd page) are unreal (no pun intended)...

    I played around with this for a while this morning...I need to set my DM score higher...I get to 25 too quickly, and I don't have corpses stacked like cordwood all over the map like those shots you posted. Neat stuff. Thanks for a really cool mutator. :up:

    This mod is awesome but i know why his FPS was 0...my computer has a dramatic slowdown when there are a lot of bodies/gibs around

    its the blood decals/gibs that cause the slowdown, I've tested it out...

    bodys have minimal impact on FPS for me, gibs have some, and decals have major impact.

    Its a cool thing but for me I would like to have as much gibs as possible lying around through the whole map! Unfortunately frame rate at that point make the game lag a bit! :cry:

    Its good and all but the bodies get in your way when your shooting (mainly in invision) like for some reason even if the body is gibed it blocks your bullets which is really bad cause, when theres nothing in front of you and you think your shooting a target your really not.


    Not to mention the in invavsion when your using this mutator the characters death animations get all funky :cry: :bulb: :weird:

    This mutator is awesome but here´s one bug I noticed:

    If you flag 'Blood Decals Stay', purple and red blood stays but the green(gen mo´kai)blood left like without the mutator.

    Yeah I noticed that too. Sure there might be a few quirks with this mutator but overall it's fun stuff.

    Maybe will get a new version some time soon eh?

    oh hey WMS didn't know you continued working on this mod.. hey where u able to fix that bug that had characters dead bodies get in the way of projectiles (well am not sure if thats a bug really, but it is annoying)

    I've been waiting to for this ever since the versions on the old ut.
    I can't wait to try it out.

    One small problem though, u should have really edited ur first post so that had the latset version.
    I must have downloaded this 20 odd times almost:cry: .
