Default Who are the Seran humans?

Who are they? Are they the natives of Sera or really descendants of space colonists who settled in Sera and starts all over?

    Discuss your theories.

I think it was all a dream...

basicly, i have no clue i think that at the E3 trailer it talked about the people destroying there own planet so maybe this Sera is the planet they moved to?

I think it is a planet very similar to earth, but with a different name to allow for a certain amount of the fiction to make sense, such as the way the underground of Sera is constructed. It is it's own planet sure, it makes you think that maybe aliens aren't little green men but are very similar to us, but the world seems to have been constructed to have much in common with a future earth, so we have something to relate to. Nothing wrong with that though, it's quite clever.

the thing i don't get, and this only works if they have space travel and can go to another planet...like earth
why don't they just lift off and drop a nuke down one of the locust holes that go into the center of the planet.

If they nuked the planet where would they live? The nuclear dust/particles would take decades to clear.
And if they have not explored space, there is most likely a reason, Giant Space creatures, or something like that
Hello there mister locust, what can i do for you today .... ARRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

thats why i said it would only work if they knew about earth and had space travel. then they could go there
i hope nuking it wouldn't have the same effect on the locusts as it does on cockroaches
    (none at all) lol

Basicly, they are using a planet like Sera to add some Sci-fi in it. We know that there is no such things as aliens under the Earth. Anything can happen on another planet unknown to reality.

There are no "Seran Humans," Sera was discovered by humans who had discovered space travel and were looking for...something (that last part is my guess). They settled down in Sera (probably after having some war) and...erm..."populated " the planet with humans.

The natives are aliens and not humans. Probably similar in design but not with the name Human. Some think that the Locusts are the natives except mutated.

Humans already know about space-tech, thats how they came to Sera but for some reason explained in-game the Serans don't like Space travel. Also they have already tryed "nukeing" the place like shown in the E306 trailer. But remember that since the Serans don't like Space-tech, they can't escape so quickly after all the things that happend to them. Nukeing the planet for real would have no effect since the Locust would just escape underground...again!

READ THE BOOKLET IT SAYS THAT THE HUMANS DISCOVERED SERA AND THEY CALL THE LOCUST NATIVES! MEANING THE LOCUSTS ARE THE TRUE SERANS NOT THE HUMANS!!!!!!!

possibly just a planet humans found that "seemed" habitable. Mayb the lack of a good space program could be because other human planets have it taken care of.

If Sera is a colonised planet, are there other planets that are colonised by humans as well, with Earth as the center?

This is beginning to sound like Killzone (but with better gameplay )

Sera is the same concept as earth. We know much about our planets underground which is why they chose a alternate world to stage the game. If they staged it on earth, people would be saying "Well why didn't the scientsts predict this." But on another planet, anything is possible.
