Question to Epic: Will you be aloud to have more than 1000 gamerscore?

I would love a game like Gears of War to have more than 1000 Gamerscore, and loudsa achievements. For a game already extremly popular and a Xbox 360 only, i would realy like it to have up to 2000-2500 GS. As a MGS (Microsoft Game studios) I think you will be aloud. I would think that this would only apply to Hardcore big budget games with a huge fan base, such as GOW, H3, Fable, GTA etc......

Some games, specificly Sport games have easy 1000 Gamerscore and i would not like Gamerscore to ruin GoW, More gamerscore will keep me hooked on the game, i can't bear playing a game without gamerscore or achievements, Gamerscore has it bad and good points.

1000+ Gamerscore points is a little over the top if you ask me.

gamerpoint system is whacked, in GRAW, you get 25 per normal mission, but to get the multiplayer ones, you need to host 1000 games for a couple of points, or come ranked 1 in the world.

They really need a team that designs the points fairly (although most "sports" fans are casual gamers thus the points being easier to get).

The division of GoW GP's though, there's an "epic" single player mode, then you have co-op mode (one as marcus, the other as dom- which i look forward to- more than single player itself as xbox is lacking coop games), then you have the standard multiplayer, dm, ctf etc.

1000 Points wouldn't be distributed evenly, I mean, look at GRAW! GRAW!!

I believe in har achievments, but GRAW's sucked! I want it to be challenging and fun!

What exactly is the point of gamescore points you get from unlocking achivements? Pardon me for my ignorance.

Its sort of like "I have more kills than you". It just to see how hardcore of a gamer you are if you can get every last point from a game.

The max is 1000 GS for each game! and the max is 50 achivements

I personally think the 1000 max for gamerscore achivements is good and bad... they should allow each developer to have more! yet its actually quite a bit.

No, even better... if a game were to have more missions like Oblivion, or GTAIV, they can add gamer achievements to a pre-exsisting game or make another one... cuz 1000, sure its quite a bit... but that almost limits you.

Cuz really i love achivements and gamerscore... and so does alot of friends of mine. It helps everyone keep playing just to unlock these achivements, keeps you playing the game... and really that's what the game developers what isnt it? Although I would like to see these gamerscores do something... like grant you M$ points for a certain amount of gamerscores you got, but i doubt that'll happen.

(look at Fight night round 3. really easy achivements)

gamerscore is meaningless to me, if they gave u MS points for it then it would make sense, like for every 1000 gamescore points u get u also get 500 MS points or other goodies

i think that having a gamerscore is a bad idea. You know theres going to be hundreds of eleventeen year olds screaming "I HAVE A HIGHER SCORE THAN YOU!!!". You can be a serious gamer even if you dont have a high score.
