not only that but that is the official COG symbol, thats why its on marcu's, dom's and the other guys suits, it is the LOGO for GEARS OF WAR, and i am SURE it will be a part of the box art in some way...

I think that is the official box art. On the MTV2 race to e3, a part when Cliffy talks it shows the box in the background, along with the "DISPLAY CASE" sticker on the bottom right.

I saw that at local gamestores in my area. It's just "filler" box-art so the stores have something to show to people who may want to pre-order the game. I doubt it's official.

i saw it in some stores and in the background of "the race to E3" but that boxart sucks and i doubt that it will be the official boxart! atleast i hope not!

Too tell you the truth i think the Collectors Edition box art looks a bit... bland (sorry). The regular version has a more artistic feel to it

I actually completely agree with you, I like the picture on the regular version. I wish someone had a high res wallpaper pic of that

Yeah they should seriously do alot for the collector's edition. A tin can would be nice with that art on the front would be pretty cool... but you know they should include inside... a mini chainsaw lol, that'd be awesome

I think that the Collectors Edition should be in a "metal" box (like Halo2) with Dom and Marcus standing back-to-back while firing at a swarm of locust's that are crouding around them, with that "3D feel" of the cover popping out.

for me its not about the box art. i wouldnt really care if it had anything on it at all. as long as i knew that the game is inside it, ill buy it. no complaints here
