    Hey gearheads
    Would anyone mind telling me the price of what Xbox Live is? I have been wondering if I should buy it or not for quite some time, and looking at how great the multiplayer will be in Gears of War, it is very tempting to get it.

    It's definitely worth it for what you get. There are so many downloads now! I had the old live subsciption and saw the new one at a friend's house. I ordered it the next day.

    Live rocks! I bought Unreal Championship and got Live for Xbox and I would NEVER go back to not having online play again! Plus, Gears rocks and so.... *weighs options*

    Yeah Xbox Live is a must if you own a 360 and with Gears coming....yeah you should get it.

    Live is a must in my opinion. All sorts of good stuff on marketplace and it is sure to grow. Fifty bucks a year isn't much to ask, but eventually I hope they offer it free with advertisements. I don't mind a few ads while downloading. Plus GoW multiplayer is gonna rock!
