When will it ever be enough?
ANNOUNCEMENT: If you took the time to read this thread then please leave a comment. It kills me to see a hundred views and only about 10 comments. I would appreciate your input and any other ideas that you have about the game.
So I'm just kind of wondering. When will people quit complaining about the game and wanting to change everything?
I'm a hardcore GoW player myself and I get two pieced, "unregistered head shots," and a ton of weird stuff happen to me but I don't complain and whine my way around.
I'm not really sure that you can make a game perfect because whenever any game comes out with an update to fix any problems that may be occuring then it motivates people even more to find other ways to cheat, be cheap, or hack their way around.
You guys have been updating the game every few months or so and some things have been fixed for the better. (Mostly all but a few things I could disagree with).
Now what really makes me mad is when you guys do give an update and people still don't appreciate you guys enough for what you've done and continue to complain and rant about the game furthermore. People always seem to find something to complain about and it's never enough.
I'm sorry but I just cannot stand to hear people yelling through my TV at the top of their lungs at some silly excuse that they've made up to try and make themselves feel better about the game.
Again, I still cannot comprehend why people continue to play the game if its so horrible?
Like I said I know you guys have been updating the game for the better but some things that have been changed are just out right ridiculous.
What I think you guys should do is maybe set it back before TU2 and just have all of the minor/major issues fixed such as rag doll effect, the long shot aka sniper rifle being fixed, the many exploits, glitches and hacks; and the game would be just great.
Now obviously still keep the ranking system in effect but it would be nice to actually play Gears of War 2 again and not Gears of War 2 trying to be like the first Gears of War.
But hey I have a question about the above sentence. This is gonna sound funny seeing in how I'm basically asking people to quit complaining about the game but I just have one question about the ranking system.
So I never really looked into it and was kind of excited when I first learned of a new ranking system but I had like 1.5 million experience before the new ranking system came out that didn't go towards my new rank. Did you guys do that on purpose because you didn't want like instant level 60's and higher or did you just forget to give everyone their experience? Either way it's not a big deal but I was just wondering.
While I'm on the topic about the ranking system I have one more idea. You guys show the old "five bar" rank when you achieve level one hundred status and I know that there are pictures of the old ranking system for reaching certain levels that aren't shown next to your name. I think it would be cool if we had the option to show our 1 bar, 2 bar, 3 bar, 4 bar, or 5 bar after achieving the certain level as well as having the option to just show the number instead. I liked the old ranking system because looking at a number is just plain boring and thought it would be cool if we could somehow see it return again.
Example of what I'm talking about: After you achieve these achievements (sounds wordy eh?) then you could have the ability to show your "1 bar, 2 bar, 3 bar, 4 bar, or 5 bar" or just stick with the current number instead.
Rookie Gear - 1 bar
Seasoned Gear - 2 bar
Battle-Tested Gear - 3 bar
Battle-Hardened Gear - 4 bar
Veteran Gear - 5 bar
A lot of people will probably disagree with what this thread has to say and even if enough people did agree then I know you still probably wouldn't do this because of the money that you've put fourth to the many patches and ect but, it's just an idea.
