Erm I'm not to sure with all this stuff, but I live in Liverpool and ive ran my tests to the london server 200 miles away here's my results...

dowload: 7.00 mb/s
Uplaod: 0.22 mb/s
Ping: 120 ms

Distance: 200 miles.

I'd really recommend don't host games. Your ping is not that good, E.g.
my ping to London is roughly 30 and I live in the north.
Upload would support 3-4 players. 4 players would be lucky.
People would have issues with delay due to your ping etc.

It is wierd though, because I never get anylag when playing, fifa, call of duty, killzone etc....soons as i comes to gears theres just a whole list of problems.

Ohh and btw is it the lower the ping, the better the connection?

Becuase that might not be a true reflection of my ping, it was varieing everytime I ran a test, even the upload an download speeds would change aswell,

ive just tested again and heres what i got...

Download: 9.48 mb/s
Ping : 70 ms

That's better. But for hosting you want to know your upload as that's the most important (sort of).
