Since November 16th 2009, my new home is located here.

I have now my own home. I've meet some great peoples here on Epic forums & I'll be very happy to hear from you at my new place. Feel free to post there, your very welcomed

I'm not leaving this forum, I'm just "moving" & I'll continue to check & provide feedback as I always done in various threads. Everything I had here is now at my new place.

Great list, I do miss some of my favorite maps though: DM-CBP3-Salvation (author: KaMi), CTF-CBP3-Touch (author: Spoondog) and perhaps DM-CBP3-HongKong (author: Tynan Sylvester). It's your list though, just figured you might have forgot to add those .

Btw, I'm quite proud seeing my own map in your list. I hope my next one will please you aswell, hehe :P

THX to you for making my UT3 collection growing You put a lot of work on it and this is why it end up in my list. I'm very happy that you ask me to test and push the CE version much further. It paid of. If you put the same amount of polishing in every map you make, you can be 100% sure that it will be in my list

I did play DM-CBP3-Salvation, CTF-CBP3-Touch and DM-CBP3-HongKong. No offense to the authors, I have a lot of there previous maps. I did not kept them and a lot of others to because they could been much more polished, specially for these guy's that made maps since years now. But hey, that what append when you have limited time to work on a project. DM Marauder "Second Edition" by Plutonic is the kind of example that IMHO every mappers should follow when the final result is not 100% accomplished. Some of the mappers said that there respective map was not 100% completed but had to let it go been stuck by the deadline.

I like this kind of thread because nobody can argue on what is or is not good since the idea is based only on my personnal taste. Nobody can't argue on taste ! THX for your comments

Regarding DM Marauder "Second Edition" preview screen

The preview screen is there but not visible in game. He only forgot to change the INI parameters when he release the SE version. To add the preview screen, simply edit "DM-Marauder-SE.ini" and make sure that you're "PreviewImageMarkup" is as follow : DM-Marauder-SE.MapPic.map-pic-marauder instead of DM-Marauder.MapPic.map-pic-marauder. Only the "-SE" is missing in the line.

Wow... That's a mighty... Big... List you've got there pal... Lol... But excellent work... Like you said, this makes for an excellent starting point for new members... Keep up the good work modding community... Makes every cent of that collectors edition well worth it...

I think its really sad that there are only 3 comunity CTF maps on that list 2 of which are mine, and I think I have an even more strict standard then you steve.. I love CTF.. and the community has so far contrubuted nothing to meet epics quality.. I am very much looking forward to KaMi's remake which I loved back in Ut1, I guess I will download this CTF-AtheaCE if you think its good.. I did look at the screens ages ago and was unsure about it, it looks great but im worryed the theme wont fit into UT3. guess ill take a look.
I challange the community to make a map that I would keep thats what i say.. if I had somthing to give I would hold a competition.. thats how bad I want more CTF maps...

I hope you'll like my map , I'll have to warn you though... it is abit laggy (especially in the outdoor area) but otherwise I think it's pretty good, atleast for being the first map I've ever made for a game. Hehe

I wouldn't worry too much about not getting enough good CTF maps though, there's lots of them coming from CBP in the future (Desolation, Arean23, Vengeance and Morgoth). I'm not gonna make another CTF map for quite a while though, I plan on making one of each gametype (including Domination) before I go back to CTF, although I can safely say that the next CTF map I'm gonna make will be Warsong Gulch from World of Warcraft. For this, I will have to be quite experienced with 3d modelling (hopefully not a problem since I'm gonna start studying 3d on monday for 2 years).

Looking forward for more maps from you Bazzwano, the ones you've released are very good, Epic quality if you ask me.

Yeah, I know you're picky, so am I. Frankly, all the map in this list are not 100% perfect, even yours All of the maps in the list could be more polished but there is a point where enough is extremely satisfying and that the extra polishing don't worth the trouble since maybe fiew persons on the planet would maybe notice it. Don't ask me to elaborate since it's not the idea of my thread. Still, since you like CTF so much, check "CTF-Windswept by Setheran" in the beta forum. He will surely appreciate your POV

Please, don't make me the judge of what is good or bad for you or any other in any case. I strongly recommand that you play ALL of them and make you're own statement. Maybe you won't like any of them, you'll see by yourself

well, you clearly forgot to include ANY of the HOLP maps, and they have state of the art CTF and DM maps, so....
