This has been released for a few weeks already but I never bothered posting here until now..
Name: Bloxeh2008 Version: Final Compatibility: UT3 Description: A remake of the popular UT2004 map CTF-Bloxeh, played and hosted by several clans and servers aswell as included in several clanbase ladders. Visually more impressive than the UT2004 version (not a lot though) but gameplaywise exactly the same. Comments: Built from scratch (nothing was imported from the UT2004 version). Full normal weapon and bot support. Screenshot: ![]() ![]() ![]() Credits: Fred (UT2004 version author), my clanmates for playtesting and commenting and last but least myself for creating. Homepage: http://www.substruction.com/ Download: Mirror 1(Homepage) Mirror 2 (UnrealPlayground) Mirror 3 (Nalicity) Installation: Extract the file to My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps and you'll be able to select the map in instant action. If you were good with moving around in 2k4, you could get from the lowspawn to your flag just as fast as you could with the midhigh spawn, is that still possible in this version now that dodgejump is no more?

I don't know. I did however measure how many seconds it took in UT2k4 to get from one flag to another on the midlevel (with dodgejumping) and compared it with UT3 (dodging). The difference was about one second, a bit less. I'm sure that through walldodging you can get it about as fast.

![]() Anyway, this looks better than the other remake, but that's normal cuz you made the 2k4 version ![]() Some small changes i do see - the width of the front entrance is smaller - the height of the route from base to low is lower - think the midfield is also a bit smaller? - feels like that anyway ![]() Good 'remake' m8

Wickedly fast map. Bots work great except for one thing, they get confused on where to go after they grab the flag. They tend to move around the chamber changing levels until they are killed. They rarely choose a path to return with the flag. They do defend and attack well, very well, and are all over you as soon as you grab the flag.

Looks OK, I should add another bit of variety to it.

No preview shot, but good remake of UT2004 map (I thought this was also a UT map, but not). I liked the simple yet details textures/meshes and this one is true to the original. I like the many paths in such as small CTF map and this makes for great and fast gameplay. The pipes are great for either running across or falling through to change your path. The bots are very tough, but can't CTF all that well.
