Modified executable code!! HELP!!

I have the same exact problem i tried reinstalling it with no luck. It's weird because I just ran it a few hours ago with no problems.

I was playing the game with no problem yesterday and today I got this error like a number of people have. So, I switched my system time to yesterday and gears started up. This seems like a MAJOR bug that epic has to deal with. If anyone else has issues, just try this and post your results

Got this bug today as well. While I worked in the editor. Helped changing the date. WEIRD.

Same thing suddenly happened to me on my Vista system -- the 'wargame' binary modified error. I've been playing GOW off and on for weeks then bam today I get this error.

My demo copy of Unreal Tournament is giving me the same error now so it's not just GOW.

I'm telling you....just try to set your system time to yesterday. My bro has a vista system as well and it gave him the same error with gears. I set his day to yesterday and it started right up.

Seems like there was the same problem back in 07. Now its sprouting up again. I tried setting the day to tomorrow and Friday and it still gives me an error. Seems like 1/27/09 is the last day it works for.

I just registered to comment on this. I played GOW a couple days ago and it worked and just today it is giving me this error about executable code. This is class "A" BS. It looks like they nuked their own game. Way to go. You just lost this customer for sure. And, if there isn't a fix posted soon, I'll be calling you dorks for a refund.
