limited edition code for golden lancer wont work
I have a problem!i got my copy of gears of war 2 limited edition today!but when i entered my redeemcode to unlock the golden lancer i got a message saying something like code not valid,,ive checked the code and rechecked it but ive entered it correct,,the download for the multiplayermaps worked...
so how come that its like this??

it probably wont work until tomorrow. just call tech support or microsoft and they could perhaps reset your code to ensure it works..

Put my code in today and it worked, along with loads of other people online with it.

Not sure. Could be that they might not work until the 7th. But then again, we've seen people use it. I'm afraid about this cause this seems to happen very often. My code that I got with dead space didn't work. Fortunately you could download it from the marketplace. If the same thing happens with gears 2 I will get pissed. But I probably won't even use it cause I don't like the look, but still. What I buy I should get right.

Get another code from your retailer, and tell them that the code you got didn't work.

ok thnx good to know,,something wrong here then,hopefully its not gonna affect that many ppl,but hmm..i dont like the smell about this,,i could have just bought the game for half the price instead of buying me an lt edition and then i wouldnt have to be concerned about this thing...

i dont think that you can get a new code from your retailer cause its printed on the same paper as those 48 hour xbox-gold trials that come with the game,
i cant call customerservice from my phone,dont ask why,i dont have a clue why it is like that,,,,so i guess im stucked at the moment
