C2D E6600 (2.4GHz)
NV GF8800 GTS (640mb) @ 600/940 MHz
2gig RAM
Win XP

But I will check it again now.

EDIT:

OK, that´s pretty sick now!
I found out that everything is alright when I start my normal UT3 installation (200+ FPS) but when I start the steamworks installation the frames are quite lowish as mentioned yesterday already.
I wonder why that is ´cos the game is loading the same *.ini files in "My Documents (etc.)".

Does anyone have a good explanation for that?

EDIT #2:

I think I found out why the frames were lowish.
I was taking part in the STEAM beta programe, I unchecked that option and restarted STEAM. Now everythings is alright again. The only bug I found was the black lifts ´cos of the low details (1 & 1 in advanced video options).

Wow this is looking and playing really sweet now. Congrats on getting it done! I was going to suggest in the beta to move the lights out of the middle of the hallway floors, and move them to the sides (and make them smaller). You end ended up doing that exactly the way I had it in my head!

Freaking great. The map is simply awesome. (Could have some Necris pipes(?)). And it's actually what I think a remake should be: Reminding the old ones but updated in therms of design, graphics, gameplay... What I have to say is: I'm cursed... I'm addicted to this map.

Thanks, d3tox. You are a crazy mapper.

Thanks!

That being said, due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback I've seen on this, I have considered maybe going through this one last time with some optimizations and possibly a couple graphical tweaks (necris pipes) and labeling DM-CurseV-ME (MSUC Edition). I hadnt considered entering it, but maybe I will when Phase 3 rolls around.

Great, necris pipes would perfect this map.

It's really a nice remake.
One thing I've noticed in my instagib 10 bot matches though, is that you can shoot through the woodwork that leads to the shield belt, which is problematic if you're not a aimbot.
I checked it out, bots can stand on the wood platform there and shoot through the wood, so in instagib that's a not-so-hot spot.

Thumbs up great remake!

I guess this is what happens when the Necris take over an old arena and goth it up. You just took a wicked sick layout and made the whole map wicked sick. I don't know really what to say except great details (lighting done well also) and I had a lot of fun (bots are good). Good idea with the no goo and I never play instagib anyway.
