Hello, mr. Bleszinski.
Tried to put this message into your PM, but it's full.
I have a quick question for you that I didn't want to put on the forum, because no one will know the answer to that anyway. But I've been beating my head on the keyboard trying to implement the idea.
The question is: is there a way to possess a Berzerker or Brumak using Possess Actor and archetypes? It's very easy to do it with regular locusts (drone, sniper, theron). I actually managed to do it with Berzerker and could even control her, but every time I made a move the screen would stuck for a second, thus making it impossible to play her. Was it done on purpose or is there a way out of that? Replacing a skeletal mesh on her didn't bring any results either.

With Brumak it's a little harder. When I possess him, he appears already knocked down and I can't control him. I understand this is because of the absense of the rider, no idea how to put him there. The Idea with Brumak is to simulate a Brumak ride (whether by controlling him or simply riding on his back and let him to the work) - like in Gears 2. I tried simply spawning him and attaching player to him, but, again, failed. I kept falling from him. I even tried attaching a blocking volume to the Brumak's back and putting my player in there. Failed again.

So, please, I beg you , tell me if there's a way to normally control the Berzerker and to simulate a Brumak ride? Or it will drive me completely crazy.

Hi ciliff i would like to start by saying well done with what you have made e.g gears of war & gears of war 2 you are astonishing in what you do and i would back you up on anything that anyone sez or sead about any of your games.
i love all of your games all the graphics are unreal.

Is this how The Locust Queen learnt english?
Marcus' father Adam, he knew/knows more about the Locust more than anyone else, I think he ventured into the hollow at one point and kidnapped a Locust child without being seen and took it back to he's house and raised it and taught it english etc etc...
And became affectionate towards it. But someone found out and told the authority. The authority wanted it dead or for research. He didnt want it to be put through pain and whatnot so he took it back to the hollow and left it there to be with its own kind...
Only to later wage war.
Thats my theory anyways

I would also like to have a game with you, that is if you like playing online with 14 year olds.. If that sounds a bit wrong theres nothing ment by it.
Also... Where can I get me one of them Gears of War controllers like you used whilst you were playing co-op?
