I can do character modeling and rigging but based on what I've read, I don't think I am what you are looking for at this time. Besides that, I use 3dsmax and I read a post about Maya (although a former team I was on used fbx to handle exchanging models between 3dsmax and maya).

If you need additional special FX after your alpha is complete, let me know. Presently, I am going through my past UT3, HT2050 (a UT3 mod), and UDK work pulling together a demoreel of 4 or 5 examples. I love taking what exists and kicking it up a few notches. Keep that in mind if you have a need at some point.
