    Hi geodav, thank u so much for the udk tracked vehicle tutor, but the DavCorp_LandTank.rar u put on the gamefront.com are removed. Could u plz tell me where else I can get this rar file? or just send me the code uc file if you don mind. Again thank u very much.

    Hey Geodav,
    I was following along your Wheeled Vehicle in UDK tutorial and I ended up with my vehicle rotating onto it's side and then getting half stuck in the ground at a 45 degree angle. I heard that you had a UT3 tutorial on how to fix this, something about resetting your bone orientations in Max, but when I looked I couldn't find it. Could you please point me to the video in which that was covered, or let me know how to fix this issue here? Thanks!

    thanks geodav, that's exactly what I thought, I did a simple test on an elongated box with 12 verts and there was no dodgy shadows on any seems/edges so it seems to work. I'll do another test on a slightly more advanced model, if that works I will try it on my container just to make sure. if all goes well I will post the results in my thread so that you can see how I did it, so you could do another tutorial on the subject (whenever I see someone just starting with blender I always send them to your tutorials) and so it would probably help them as well. just had an after thought about your tutorials, on your first tut you don't apply scale (I know how to do it but others might not), also I noticed you haven't done a basic tut on grid snapping or the mirror modifier and I think they could help a lot of beginners (not hard to do if you know how, but some people dont). I hope you don't take the last bits the wrong way

    hi geodav, I was just wondering if you could answer a couple of questions as you are the expert on these things.
    1#when I create UV's in blender are they saved/exported with the model (in the file)? (just checking it's not saved in the .TGA file or something random like that).
    2#in blenders UV image editor does it just show you how it will be laid out. so if I change the texture in the material applied to my mesh in UDK the UV will have the same layout but be on the new texture?
    3#i managed to setup 2 UV's in blender, imported to UDK opened the static mesh viewer and it had 2 UV channels, I checked the layout's and they were the same as in blender, so as long as my material and lightmap correspond to the correct UV channels should they work properly?
    I think I might have finally worked it out but need these answers to confirm it.

    hi GEODAV. I downloaded your tutorial on multiple UV's in blender (very nice by the way) but your box is a lot simpler than my meshes and was wondering if you had done any tutorials about unwrapping and applying multiple UV's (1 for diffuse and 1 for lightmap) to more complicated meshes
