UPDATE - so the car still crashes UDK when I try to exit the vehicle. I also tried playing the game (not via editor) and when I choose the garage map I made with our custom vehicles in it - the game crashes when I press 'start game'. I tried each car on it's own - still crashed. Then I tried taking both out to make sure it wasn't the map and the map loaded fine. Have you been able to use the humvee files in a game?

I am now creating a very basic car of my own to emulate what you did so I can get a deeper understanding of what's going on. Right now - I seem to be getting it to work but it's invisible.

Once I get this working, I plan to go through the script and try to weed out all of the 'extra' code to create a very simple 4-wheel car template with customizable UI for three reasons:

- create a simpler base to work off of for other future-vehicles (work up not backwards from a finished scorpion)
- understand the code : what we need vs don't need and why so that I actually CAN add to it later.
- offer this as a tutorial from one noob to future noobs and/or other people who just want to start making vehicles for their games. Just trying to help add something to the community that's helped me.
