That is 100% true, fully agree with you there. But since the serverside update post TU6, we don't get connected to Americans. The lowered ping limit has made for much better games all round.

Thats a ridiculous and stupid oversimplification. I can tell you now my host is better for Aussies than a US based dedicated server.

Im not sure why you would think that, especially given you are not from Australia nor are you an Australian that has played on overseas servers. A server from America VS an Aussie host for an Australian would end up with a very clear winner.

Its not really a MASSSIVE Improvement if we don't get dedicated servers here now is it?
