  1. Thanks fella All sounds quite simple really - what I was worried about was having to watch my gameplay on my computer screen and not on my TV while it recorded.

    With the Hauppage though I see that it's possible to play on my TV as normal whilst it records on the PC - happy days.

    I use a Hauppage HD PVR to record my videos, and yes you need your computer near the 360. It benefits you, so you can record and stop recording without the hassle. It is possible to not have it near you, but you'd need a really long usb cord, lol.

    If your laptop is decent enough, you can use that as well. I'm personally using my laptop for recording.

    And before you get a pvr, I strongly suggest you getting an external harddrive.That's what I did. It saves you memory you have on your desktop/laptop, and you don't really have to worry about memory space while recording since recording in HD uses up a lot of memory.
