Communicating with the Community

I really appreciate, and I know others do as well, the streams and such that Rac and Rod are doing, Flak and Cher keeping us posted on stuff TroyMcClure updating the issues forum, and tons of other stuff.
However, there have been a number of complaints about lack of communication between Devs and the community.

I'm just throwing these out there as problems people have, and a few solutions.

Not enough Dev Activity on the Forums
Problem: Epic says the Devs are reading things on the forums, but there isn't any activity (posting wise)
Solution: When Devs are on the forum, they should always post stuff...it doesn't need to be important, but it show that you are in-fact there

Rod's Streams
Problem: Not enough time to answer all questions & Many important questions aren't being answered
Solution:

We really shouldn't eliminate the story, and non-bug related questions (like some people want). In fact, I think it should only be these (hear me out)
This is how I think it should work:
Streams (One every 1-2 months): Talk about upcoming things (DLC, TUs, other) and answer 'fun' questions
QA writeup (every 3-4 weeks): Answer most 'important' questions (bugs, changes, ect)
--These could either be streams (Not always Rod) or just simply typed up list of responses

I feel like these streams should be fun and be informative, not pressing for changes.
I do feel like people's voices should be heard for change and such, but I'd rather have a separate thing for that.
I'm pretty sure most people would like this over the current system

I think that this would add a ton to the community and people would greatly appreciate it.

I agree with all of you that their needs to be more interaction between the developers and the Community
