-Did the mass relays pull an Arrival and go supernova?
No, they didn't. (i'm paraphrasing here, please don't interpret this too hard) They overloaded, they didn't rupture. We really didn't mean to imply that the whole galaxy had been destroyed. People interpreted the ending in ways we really didn't expect.
(Mr. Weekes dropped a lot of hints that he really didn't like the ending. He also said something that was almost 100% verbatim from the Penny Arcade Forum post often attributed to him)
Oh and to top it off Jessica Merizan (Community manager at BW) said "I will never confirm or deny indoctrination b/c we don't want to tell you how to interpret the end.". So that means for dummies like me there will never be closure.
lol at least you're not posting in the BW forums like me (at least i think you're not).
I posted once saying that if it was indoctrination then it wasnt an ending because it lacked closure, and that if it wasn't indoctrination then it didnt make sense.
So that means for dummies like me there will never be closure.
Right there with ya mate.
To cheer everyone up
Kirrahe is such a boss!
Just finished the game, chose synthesis.
I was pretty much balling while the last cutscenes were playing....
On my renegade play through I shot Mordin, me and my sis were like "NOOOO!!!" but I committed to all right trigger pulls when I started. Then when I was gonna kill Kaiden I couldn't even with the trigger pulling, I think Thane being alive and heroic screwed it up.
FD, yay, another who picked synthesis!
I demand Indoc-theory be canon... :/
WTF Cat!? Mordin's is the greatest character ever and you shoots him teh back! SHAAAAAME!
And i wont get started on the absolute BS that is synthesis ending.
I really didnt wanna kill him. I wanted him to go work on the crucible. I was willing him to make it to release the cure because I felt bad. When I got back on the Normandy I realised Javik would know what I did because of his super powers.
