Hi everyone, after nearly two weeks without power, I am finally back from the dead!

That's good, did you try tracing the number back that called?

That's odd, did you find the person who called them? I'd stick my foot so far up in his "temperature taking" place.

My living room computer got the FBI Warning Malware Scam, took a little time to remove it, but I got it. It said I had to pay $200 in the next 48 hours or a criminal prosecution will be created automatically for illegally downloading music, videos and stuff like that. It looked so legit, not even kidding, you had to buy a MoneyPak card at 7-Eleven, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, or like a general store. It would completely disable your PC, the only thing that worked was Safe Mode. I removed the file from the regedit and AppData folders. Looks real, but it has loop holes, good try though. If I get it again, I am going to try to find what IP the file originated from and report it to the police and hopefully the creators will get prosecuted.
