To be honest it is just what was in the pencil when I bought it, I use mechanical pencils, the kind you can buy at most stores like Staples or CVS, I'm guessing it's 2B. I tend to bare down hard when I draw sometimes too...

Did you use regular pencil led for this? It looks really dark and sharp.
