Yeah, GIMP is the best free program. I use it, its not photoshop but its mu ch better than paint imo

This one is more of a manipulation than a creation. Be careful, even though it is a jpeg, it is still almost a 3 MB file due to the incredible detail (1600x1200).
Image removed by Crotale. I guess nobody liked it enough to comment, therefore I can assume it was not appealing to GoW fans.

It's a screenshot with blurred bordering overlayed onto a black background, with a couple of logos added. Althought it looks nice, it took no real effort to make. No offense, but I'm not sure what all the fanfare is about.

Dude that comment was not called for, Just because someone didnt put a whole lot of effort into a wallpaper doesnt mean its bad. The Wallpaper looks great and thats all that matters. Its obvious you commented out of Spite because no1 commented on your Wallpaper, however if youd have left it up long enough maybe some of us would have had a chance to comment.

I'm not sure I follow your logic. The wallpaper in question has nothing to do with any of mine. I took mine down because I figured if no one commented, it must not be the type of artwork appreciated here, so why leave it up? I'm a person of necessity. If there is a demad, I'll try to fill it. If not, my product goes away. Simple as that.

Am I not entitled to my opinion on other persons' work? The wallpaper Flint made looked good, however, I saw nothing overly special about the piece. It was a plain screenshot that we've seen all too many times. I mean, really, how many wallpapers do we need of the same screenshot?

Not everyone is gonna like every piece of Art ever made, Ive been doing Digital Art for almost 2 years now, ive had my work put down many times, ive had many threads not commented on, i know what its like, but you should remove your work, someone would of eventually noticed it and loved it, or they would of gave your some constructive criticism on how to make it better.

Calm down man...... everyone who posts anything they make should prepare themself for any kind of feedback, Positive and Negative alike. To be honest I've seen that screenshot a whole heck of a lot in Wallpapers, but I still appreciate the work he put to it. When I make movies for example, I always prepare myself for some jerk to just put down my hours of editing and such, but I just suck it up and thank for even giving me feedback. So if that guy found his comment offensive he should try to learn to suck it up. That's how I learned that not everyone will like your work. Nice job by the way Flinty, I appreciate all the work you put towards your creation :).
