Team Epic, Will their ever be a DEMO???

i just want to ask Team Epic if they are planning a single player and or multiplayer demo for Gears of War, and if they are around what time will it be released?

LOL i know that the guys at Epic probably wont be able to say anything about this but, maybe....

Dude, it won't comes out until this Fall. They are fixing the bugs, and make better grapfics.

Though a demo would be nice (pre-ferably multiplayer), i think GEAR is right...:( But at least that makes the day of launch even more exciting!

i know they are perfecting the game right now but i heard that their will be an explosion of promotions for this game before it comes out, ex. tv advertisements, posters, pics on the side of a bus, every were u go u will see GOW, so i was hopeing maybe sometime mid-late summer they release a Gow demo, its not likely but i really hope they do:rolleyes:

I am sure Team Epic will release GoW demo before it comes out, but they don't want to ruin their game like people are not going to buy this if they play GoW, and don't like it. That's not good idea, not bad idea to give the demo out.

Also, they need to make achievements for 360.

Will be 100 headshots, 10,000 kills like GRAW, finish the missions, and co-op, more.

I don't accept if Team Epic add "Be first on the rank" achievement! :mad:

In an interview somewhere Epic mentioned that the market place is great and that there might be a demo, but theyre main focus at the moment is the actuall game.

If they make a demo before the game comes out, i hope it is a multiplayer demo. GRAW and PDZ are ok online but i want a online game that takes me in like Halo 2 did.

I'm not even worried about a demo right now. Honestly, Epic's concern and mine are to make the actual game the best it can be. I want all the focus on Gears until it comes out.

There's so much riding on this game and the last thing on my mind or on Epic's mind I'm sure is a demo before actual release.

But, probably after it's release we'll see a demo or whatever. This game will be huge.

Im pretty sure that if a demo is released before the game is released, your decesion will change. Your going to WANT to play the game, no matter if its only 1 level.

That is probably why they might NOT release a demo then. I played the demo to Rainbow Six lockdown and refused to buy it even being a huge RS fan! I'd want to wait and get the whole experience regardless and aren't the levels suppose to be relatively quick to get through?

yeah, isn't there 3 'crimson omens' in each level, giving you bronze, silver and gold achievments? i think thats what i read... hopefully theres a 'killed X amount of players with the chainsaw' achievement for multiplayer...

Epic has actually had a very successful campaign of demos. Look at all of the Unreal/Unreal Tournament games. These demos were released early with multiplayer enabled. (Epic was one of the first franchises to offer multiplay in a demo, actually.) With the GoW release being pushed back, it would seem that a demo probably won't happen until after release - but hey, we can all hope for something to come out beforehand. Of course that might be like feeding bloody meat to a school of piranhas. :D
