Unnecessary poll I guess, since you seem to be the only one who actually likes GFWL around here.

Oh dear lord, please don't GFWL Fortnite. :<

I see this subject is important for this community at this stage. I'd really love for Fortnite to use Steam. Here's my perspective on this:
Like any other PC gamer in 2012, I am an already established Steam user with a large library of AAA+ titles, I am used to Steamworks and the simple way it deals with tasks such as joining friends, etc.
I should mention that I don't live in a country where XBL/GFWL is available and I have a gamertag from the UK just to play some Gears 1 (and on xb360 2 and 3), but other than that most of my friends haven't even heard of GFWL.

While Steam is universal, PC-friendly and Valve are a great company to have dealings with, they support their apps and services (they have the steam client natively translated into my language and I'm loving it) and I've had dealings with their support section when it was necessary, needless to say, my issues were resolved flawlessly. I don't really know a lot about GFWL, it's style, attitude and all other things are very hostile to me.

On the question of popularity and expected revenue, EPIC are great devs/publishers and they already know that the money is where Steam is and if there aren't any other business decision, it's the Steampowered solution for us all. I guess other people feel this way about GFWL and this is great, not trying to be a fanatic or anything else, but GFWL is a turn-off for me, I would consider not getting this title if its this way.
They may release it as a stand-alone which is good, on Steam it is good, but Origin and GFWL I just dislike. It's the UI, it's the servers geographical locations (I usually download anywhere up to 10GB every week from Steam), it's the fact that not a single friend of mine uses anything other than Steam, basically I don't have a single redeeming point for other services.

Steam's discounts, availability, being so reliable, great support, all my friends, ease of operation, the fact that the client is translated and also the fact that it is skinnable, the fact that I've loved Valve since Half-Life (one of my favourite games of all time) is what draws me there, what makes me stay there and why I really hope Fortnite is there as well.

As I said previously, it's perfectly okay for other people to like different things and not get upset by what I said.

Thanks for readin'

To be REALLY honest... As I'm from Germany and as much as I dislike both in regards of gaming (that you need them to play), I think I would even prefer GFWL over Steam, even if I really had to struggle to even sign up with Bulletstorm.
I would like if it had none of the two...

Steam... the problem is: If you are in Germany, 90% of games are butchered (censorship, no blood/gore/ragdolls/etc., that's why I even preordered Bulletstorm from Austria) and you cannot buy uncensored games at Steam. You need someone to gift it to you to have the uncensored game and if you don't have that someone, you might think "oh, just order it from Austria, that way you have the uncensored German edition". No. You cannot activate Steam games that you imported from another country and are uncensored with a German account afaIk. I didn't have this problem with GFWL, so that's basically the reason why I prefer it over Steam when it's about games that have violent content, especially in the case of Fortnite, seeing as it will have gore and blood - even though it will have a comic look - I predict that it will still be censored... :(

PS: If it wasn't for the censoring and the other issues when you're in Germany, I would love if it had Steam, but in the case of Fortnite... well, I hope you get what I mean.
I still would prefer if it had NO DRM AT ALL.

How can you start a vote about this when you don't know anything about steam? Seems a little daft to be honest, no offense intended.

If anything, there should be a third option for neither. I really don't like GFWL, it just doesn't work very well. But I don't ever want to be forced to use Steam. Personally, I like Steam a lot. But I don't think I need it.

Why only two options? Couldn't it also not have to use one?

Well, I think best option would be none of them, but if i have to use one of these, i'd prefer steam. GFWL is , what i would call it, unfinished garage project, full of bugs, also i dont want scrapped editor (like one from Gears of War PC). Steam is better for me but i don't like big number of patches on it and the way they are installed (if you dont finish downloading patch, you can't play and i have very slow connection)
