Unlockables based off of achievements and maybe medals?

I think with Judgment they should continue what they have done with earning certain things because of achievements in past Gears games. Except now they should include Onyx medals. Now I mean the more challenging ones that cannot be accomplished easily by boosting. So what should we unlock for earning certain Onyx medals? Character and weapon skins are always a good idea, like how you earned RAAM by getting the "Dish best served cold" achievement in Gears 1, Anthony Carmine by completing the First Act on Casual (I think? A bit hazy remembering that long ago), and Kim by finding 10 COG Tags in Gears 1. Here is a list of achievements and medals, I think, should earn you stuff in Judgment.

Iffy means that they require DLC, easy but time-consuming, easily boostable.

Medals
-Beta Tester- I know it's not an Onyx medal.
-Old Guard- Just because.
-Seriously 3.0 (Extremely Serious)- Obviously.
-Captor (Dances with Death)- This is hard but what do you guys think?
-War Supporter (Party Animal)- If you manage to get it.
-Heavy Weapons (Heavy Weapons Master)- I just got this Silver.
-Explosives (Explosives Master)- Takes a while to earn.
-Match Winner (Victory is Mine!)- Hard to obtain. Unless you sit there and boost 3000 matches.
-Finisher (Angel of Death)- Takes a very long time.
-Skunker (P3P3 L3 P3W P3W)- Very hard to obtain.
-Hammerburst (Hammerburst Master)- Have yet to see someone with this Onyx.
-Lancer (Sir Lancers-a-Lot)- Saw one person with this Onyx.
-Sawed-Off Shotgun (Sawed-Off Master)- I think it would be funny.
-Cover (Lee's BFF)- I just got this Onyx and I rarely ever see it.
-Pistols (Pistol Master)- VERY hard.
-Spotter (Captain Obvious)- 2500 away from Onyx and I've only seen it twice.
-Pyro (Hellfire & Brimstone)- Yet to see it Onyx.
-Sapper (EOD Master)- Arguably one of the hardest medals to get legit.
-Guardian (Guardian Angel)- I doubt I will ever see this Onyx until we get closer to Judgment.
-All the game mode match medals- Too lazy to list them.
-Allfathers (Supreme Allfathers)- Would go along with ^.
-Master-at-arms (God-at-arms) & Rifleman (Rifle Master)- Would go along with getting the starting weapons Onyx.
-Hard Target (I Am Legend)- VERY hard.
-Shock Trooper (Tip of the Spear)- Haven't seen this Onyx.
-Old Schooler (Kickin' it Old School)- Lots of dedication.
-Battle Mistress (Warrior Goddess)- I have it but I've only seen 4 other people with it.
-Architect (Epic Architect)- Who has this?
-High Roller (Like a Truck)- Just because of the Gears 1 achievement reference.
-Veteran (Veteran Gear)- Dedication.

-Number 1 (Numero Uno)-
-Forcer Multiplier (Force Multiplier)-
-Survivalist (I'm a Survivor!)-
-Aficionado (Misspent Youth)-
-Doorman (I've Got the Codes)-

Any unlocks relating to DLC-tied achievements should be out of the question.

It isn't fair as not all fans would've bought the content and as I believe, due to recent events, it is against MS's policy.

We payed for the game, so why should other people buy Gears 3 just to unlock an achievement to get a skin that completes the game.

I understand your point, but everyone should be able to get whatever's in the game because they payed full price for the whole disk and whats on it.

I would really hope for just a medal that would rank up based on the number of Gears of War Seriously achievements obtained across the entire series.

1 for Bronze

2 for Silver

3 or 4 for Gold

6 for Onyx


6 of course assuming that there will be a Seriously 4.0 otherwise 5 for Onyx.

Unlockables can be tied to to other games, but achievements can not.

The whole point of legacy unlocks is to reward the people who've stuck with you, not to try and lure some poor sap into buying the last game to get a certain skin.
