Zeta and alpha playlists gone?

So I loaded up gears 3 this morning and pressed on versus and then forces of nature playlist, and there was nothing there. No guardian no nothing. So I just pressed x to see what happens and then I'm in a guardian match, so I play that and after the game I back out to the start screen. I then try again, this time though guardian is visible and available to play but nothing else. Any reason for this? Also I noticed that execution matches are now down to 3 rounds from 5. Enjoy playing zeta so hope it is coming back. I will try again in a bit.

I had this happen to me once and the player counts were at zero on the standard playlists. I back all the way out to the main menu, went back in, and that seemed to correct it. If that fails, try dashboarding and then going back in. Hope that helps.

This sounds right mate as the counters did say zero. Although when I backed out to the start menu then started again, the counters were back to normal and guardian appeared too but the rest had not. I'm going to try it now to see if it's all good.
