instead of having stranded playlists why not just make quick match all singles no parties
i know this has happen to a lot of us where we get online and start up quick match for a little warm up then we run into full 5s stacked 4s in quick and its a lack of competition to the stacked teams so why not just take away the option for parties to play quick

that is my idea

Voted No (Dislike Idea) just because of the fact that Quick Match is supposed to be for a quick match. Some players don't want to be bogged down to playing ranked when quick match is quicker when it comes to getting into a match and getting to the next map. Why should players who are in parties be forced to Ranked matches? That means a group of 3 or even 2 would have to play a Ranked game without the option of leaving in the middle (Like if they have to go to work or something). Isn't We're All Stranded still up? O,o

Still takes away the feel of Quick match. If a group of friends want to play a match or two with no penalty, They would go to QM. If this was implemented the casual feeling of entering a game quickly and for fun is gone. This is why We're All Stranded Playlists are around for the lone wolves who can't get that party of 3-5.

As for the argument that it drains the fun for the parties to have to play ranked? Well, imagine how us solo players feel having to go against full parties in a social, supposedly "non-serious" mode.

When I join a QM now and see a party of 3+, unless the team I'm on also consists of a party of equal size, I jet. Let em play against bots. They'll get all the target practice and stat padding they need without annoying the heck out of me on the process.

Party of 2+ forced to play ranked. This is the reason we have such a small community in the first place. People cant win matches, if a party of 4 people that casually play the game are forced into ranked, they will have in game experiences that will lead them to quitting gears for sure.
Heck i play stacked sometimes and the ranked teams i run into can demolish a good team that im running with.
The idea of quick it to have a more casual session.

But you get many, many serious people who have stopped playing Ranked for whatever reason. It's gotten so bad that the first thing i do whenever I join a match is check whether people are teamed or not. I often spend up to 10 minutes (it happened once) joining and leaving lobbies because of teams.

For all of you saying play stranded have you played stranded?
there are no numbers playing stranded its hard to find games

if the numbers in ranked went up it wouldn't take long to find a match

and those of you against it just sound against ranked in general like ranked is a punishment to play against competition

It's not like every qm game is full of teams of 5... Here and there yes! But hey you can leave the match and find a new room!

So I don't get what all the complaining is about?

Just cuz a team of 4-5 wants to play qm doesn't mean they should be forced into rank! That's absurd
Large parties have just as much of a right to qm as single player or smaller

I think parties of 4 & 5 shouldn't be allowed in QM. The only time I take issue with it is then after every match the other game talks big when they beat you. Yes, you did beat my team of me, 3 randoms (2 of whom don't have/use mics), and a Commando Dom who held onto the Boomshot the whole time he was alive. If you're going to party up that big in QM, don't act tough when you go on a winning streak.

There are people who play standard QM who complain about being matched up against parties but still continue to play standard QM when they can just as easily go play Stranded. The numbers are low because people are stubborn, they will constantly complain about parties in QM yet never go over to play stranded.

It's called quick match for people who want to play a quick match.
It's not "Single match" and "Party match."

The benefits of quick match just outweigh ranked. It's not the XP. It's the drop in and drop out friendly gameplay. People are not in the mood to deal with all the trash talk from ranked players no matter how much XP you give them.

If they added all the maps to the Stranded rotation, I would not complain anymore.

If 'casuals' were forced to play ranked, they would inevitably run into more 'casuals' since 'casuals' would be forced to play Ranked. There will be some who go 'oh! Let's go play something else' but if it is communicated well enough in game, then I'm sure some would appreciate the decision

I'm in favour of 3/4+. There's nothing I like less than being in a 5-man in Quick because we couldn't find a Ranked game...it just turns into the inevitable bot farm...

Epic has said multiple times that they will not force people to play Ranked under any circumstances if they don't want to. A party of 5 has just as much of a right to play Quick as a Lone Wolf has to play Ranked.

Eh, I don't expect them to force people to play ranked. It would be nice, but it's also not very fair. However, for the sake of the topic, I replied the way I did because it's still annoying no matter how you look at it.

I think it's a fair topic that would hopefully lead to a more fleshed out alternative for solo players. Yes, we have Stranded. But playing on the same 5 maps isn't the alternative I'd like.
