Agreed. The ten rounds makes it feel just like gears 1 to me

Zeta should have more gametypes.
That would be answer where to go to play with more skilled players.
I wouldn't leave Zeta KOTH with 2 rounds ever.

I would absolutely love it. That and standard Execution or Zeta are my favorites. I wish they'd get rid of playlists that don't need to be around though. Like TDM No DLC, Player's Choice, Stranded KOTH, and make it so there's only one Alpha gametype.

Huge fan of the playlist idea, just not how it typically plays out.

It often turns into a bit of a campfest...but when everyone is playing with a good spirit (i.e. limited pre-actives, 1v1s mutual (though not necessarily initiated), no-one caring about K/D or W/L for a while, and when everyone has a mic (quite often in this playlist)), I really enjoy it.

The longer rounds also mean you can turn games around. I was 1-6 in one game, and ended with 21-6...

Without the Golden Sunb, I've really found a second home in this playlist, KoTH, Execution and Get Gnashty :)

Get Gnashty is my favourite go-to playlist. I primarily play that and change up with TDM.

It is a Event playlist. That is the point of Events. What they should do is put Get Gnashty for Private Match.

It is a Event playlist. That is the point of Events. What they should do is put Get Gnashty for Private Match.

what they should do is make it permanent. So i don't have to wait until this event comes back to play gears 3 again

I feel this is reasonable.

It's not like im asking for permanent boomsnipes or permanent shotgun snipers.

We wouldn't have to read post after post complaining about retro/SOS becaue they'd be playing get gnashty and both sides of the gears community would be satisfied.

Totally agree. When it plays the way you think it should it's totally boss.

That being said, I can only take so many shotgun sounds off spawn and then getting triple teamed because my team never even left our spawn. I'm like, "wait, where the heck is everyone and why preactive to sit still?" LOL

And also, the "AFK" guys going for clutches. This is my biggest annoyance with Get Gnashty. They're not going to impress me with a 1v5 because as soon as I see them sitting there I bounce anyway.

It gets to the point where I'd rather face Retros and SOs than deal with some of the shenanigans in that playlist.

I've not come across any clutchers in Get Gnashty (I've only seen them in Ranked Execution), but yeah, the ones who sit in spawn are the ones who make me rage.

5 man vs 5 man in Ranked Get Gnashty is fun though...until they start pre-activing (I do too when provoked, but it just makes the whole thing a bit...meh...)

I've never seen it work either. But that doesn't make it any less annoying.

Not only are you leaving your teammates out to dry, but you're slowing the game down tremendously.

Put it to first to 5 and remove all active boosts and we're good to go. Now, it's really boring to play... too sweaty.

And about the sweating, maybe it's sweaty palm syndrome? or use a fan in your room or something lol

I love the list but it does get to campy that's when you get the puss puss players in there nothing that a good coordinated flank can fix

Sweaty is tryhard from what I've gathered.

An example of a 'sweaty' game would be on Clocktower Ranked TDM, where it's mad rifles and mad crossing from all manner of angle and positions where you are literally pinned down to a spot.

...not really sure how Get Gnashty can be sweaty going by my definition though...:confused:

Anyone shed any light?

The whole freaking game appeals to casual players with the sawn off and retro. Why can't hardcore players have their own playlist. One for the wall bouncing ninjas, i know i can't be alone, vote people!
