need help with flad material

a simple question and a simple answer i hope...

ive made some flags in a map, all i havent been able to do yet is be able to toggle it off and on, is that possible?
they work 100% i just want to be able to turn them off at a certain point.

I don't know what you mean by turning off a flag, but if you're wanting some control over a material to change within the game, look into Material Instances, it allows you to setup a variable within a material which you can then adjust with Kismet.

the flag is blowing in the wind, i would like to toggle the flag off, so it isnt moving anymore, like freeze but completely off
it can be any cloth type flag was just an example
