That's not a good idea to get a tattoo of a video game tattooed on yourself before you even know if you're going to like it. My friend got a Halo 2 tattoo and he hated halo 2 when he played it, and returned it the next day. He ended getting it covered up.

We both have military backgrounds (me, Army; him, Navy) and we're Gears fanatics. We've wanted to get something together for a long time. The chains go all the way around our arms, they were all free-handed, no templates. Our artist did a really great job. We're real happy with them.

Those were awesome tatts frag, am I missing something in this country? ala I see alot of people getting tatts in viewable places, and the one guy who was talking about the omen on his throat, I was hoping was joking? I have tatts, but are all easily hidden, and I wonder about future job prospects (if I was an employer, I would say cool when I saw your tatt, but would also think dumbass for getting it on a wrist or neck/face area and not hire you)

Thanks for the props guys, appreciate it :) We get stopped all the time so people can look at it - even people w/out ink. That's saying something.

As for placement, I'm a mechanic so I don't give a **** and his can be covered by his sleeves while on base if need be, so he's good too :) I wouldn't do something like my face, neck or even my hands. My arms are just fine. I'm trying to think of a theme to tie it all in on my right so I can sleeve it.

What's funny is that my brother can wrap his dog tags around his arm, match up the chain and everything (lines/contours, etc) and they match right up with his tattoo, length and all. How's that for awesome?
