I was thinking that since Guardian is going to be coming out with the next DLC I figured what better way to celebrate then to have a kickoff tournament? It would be just for fun since I have no money to provide any prizes but it would be a good way to introduce the game type into GOW3. The rules/ settings would be simple.
1. 4 player teams. (5 players are sometimes hard to get a hold of and it leaves no room for me to spectate if one of the teams would like me to)
2. Matches would be played first to 5.
3. I will appoint a team to host the first match of each match-up. Both teams will get to host and if it goes to a third match then the team that hosted the first match hosts again.
4. Matches must be played in Guardian game type on one of the 5 new maps coming out in the DLC4
5. The team that host the match gets to pick the map for the first two matches. If it goes to a third match then the teams must agree on a map or have me pick one.
6. When a team has won 2 matches both teams in the match up need to send me a message on Xbox Live reporting who won which matches (I.E Team A won match 1 and 3, team B won match 2) In the case of disputing scores i will ask each team to provide proof that they won. If a team doesn't provide proof then they will have to play again with me as a spectator.
7. The tournament bracket size will depend on the number of teams we have join. The tournament will not commence with less than 8 teams. I will allow as many teams to play as I can get to sign up. If there is an odd number of teams then a team will receive a bye in each round that there are an odd number of teams.
8.If a team does not show for there match on time (Within 15 minutes) They will forfeit.
I reserve the right to change/update/improve the rules at any time.
At this time I will take any questions that you have.
