Wait, technically TAO and Deathtrap have been featured, so in the end he would deserve these two icons he had in the beginning anyways... or am I wrong? :)

From the UT community I would like to point out these members:
stevelois as he does not only make good maps for UT3 but he also reviews a lot of them,
SkaarjMaster for his detailled reviews which help, guide and motivate many mappers of the UT2004 and UT3 community,
Anubis 'Shadowgod' who - just as the other two community members - reviews maps and spends a big amount of time writing a long post criticizing (in a positive meaning) and helping all of us mappers,
and last but not least:
Tux Android for uploading countless of files and necrobumping threads with either new links to old maps and mods or to ask to get the file so he can upload it. :)

Maybe one of them will be seen as "worthy", maybe not, but imo they're the ones who help keep the Unreal games alive by contributing reviews and necrobumping threads to post a new download link of a long forgotten map file.

Of course there are many more but these are the first few who come to my mind when I think of helpful members of our little Unreal community.

I'm sorry but I honestly have no clue what half of the people who got banners have done for the community. It would be a good idea to link the banner image to the thread or post that earned the person the banner.

Often it's not just one post or thread, it can be a bunch of them which earned them one. Users can also be a "silent" help too for example by informing moderators and admins about spammers/trolls/offtopic stuff/threads that have to be moved/etc. which can be easily overlooked or which they did not notice when browsing the forum (the UC2 forum is a breeding place for spam for example as many skip it and when a spambot posts some advertising or whatever it's easy to miss it, however, it can still be seen by users and it still violates the rules and is a potential danger).

Wrong place. I would try to post this in the Gears of war 3 or, most preferably, in the Gears of war 3 Multiplayer forum :) I do not believe he is scheduled to be a playable character in the upcoming DLC, but there is of course a chance you will see him if the demand is big enough. Try making a poll :)

I don't think there really needs to be an incentive to make useful threads etc on the forums personally, I'm a bit worried there's going to be a 'gotta catch 'em all' mentality with some people churning out threads to try and get themselves a shiny banner. The forums are getting a little bit sterile these days it seems.

When nominating someone for a banner, keep in mind what the banner means. I'm assuming "I helped the Community!" means this person has in some way helped or made the community better through their actions.

Also, I imagine Flak and the rest of the admins have read through the thread, so there's no need for that message, Zilla, since it's already been nominated for consideration. No need to get angry and all that.

Links to profiles would be a big help so we can investigate. Some people nominated have not been chosen because while they may have made one helpful thread, they also have a lot of posts insulting others or being generally disruptive. I'm not saying this is the case with bombers, but if someone doesn't get chosen that could be the reason.

I don't think there really needs to be an incentive to make useful threads etc on the forums personally, I'm a bit worried there's going to be a 'gotta catch 'em all' mentality with some people churning out threads to try and get themselves a shiny banner. The forums are getting a little bit sterile these days it seems.

Yeah, I suppose so. Like a lot of things, it is going to do a lot of good like I said. Maybe get people to be a bit more civilised with each other etc. But then as you said, it could also cause people to churn out threads, just to get a banner. But then, I think the good out weighs the bad when it comes to this.

I agree with this one, she is an absolute hero who consistently helps the community either directly or via The EGFC.

Some people nominated have not been chosen because while they may have made one helpful thread, they also have a lot of posts insulting others or being generally disruptive. I'm not saying this is the case with bombers, but if someone doesn't get chosen that could be the reason.

Also, I don't think the end of Flak's post includes Cat at all, never seen her kick off on other forum members.

I believe first and foremost that lycan deserves a title. The amount of giveaways he has done has been incredible! I play with him on a regular basis whether it be horde or versus and is a really nice guy! :)

Wormbo is definitely of of the most deserving. I get the impression that a lot of us old UTers get left out in the crowd of Gearheads. But hey, I'm not complaining.
