Grenades and 2/14/2012 update.

Just something really tiny that I've noticed a lot of today, that I haven't seen at all really, since before today's Xbox live update.

I'm seeing it rather often in regards to frags, if you you throw a frag, and die before it explodes - killing another player no points are awarded to the player that threw the frag, and no points are deducted from the player that died to the frag.

It still registers the death on the scoreboard, but doesn't award the player a kill.

Has anybody noticed this before the 2/14/2012 update?

I haven't seen anything going on with the frags. Could be because I never use them. Ha!

Yeah I've seen this for a while now. If you die while throwing a grenade and it detonates whoever kills you as they run through, it shows suicide for them and I guess no points for either. Idk...

What the OP said was that: If you die after throwing a grenade and it kills someone you don't get points for killing them.

I have had this happen many times with frags and Boomshot. Usually it has to do with lag, whereby the person who threw the nade dies at the same moment it is thrown and the nade essentially becomes a wild frag and will kill friend or foe, but not give anyone credit for the kill.

Seen it happen a million times with flame nades....I'll blow someone away and like 2 full seconds later I'll burst into flames when the slo-mo nade that was in their hands hits the ground where they died ....it isn't the same as the suicide icon tho....instead of your name-->weapon-->your name on the screen it's just weapon-->your name.
