I used to love everyone who played Gears. In 1 and 2, I got maybe 10 out of 100 kills stolen. 9 of those 10 stolen kills, the person would message me apologizing for taking it. Since I've gotten Gears 3, I get around 40 of 100 kills stolen, no apologies. Today I was in 4 gnasher battles with opponents and we both downed each other. All 4 times, my teammate proceeds to take my kill and then pick me up. I find it sad that everyone has started to lone wolf on this game, even in KoTH. There are some problems with this game, but the biggest by far for me is the people who play it.

It depends on who you play with. In my experience, I got more kills stolen from me in Gears 2 than both Gears 1 and 3. It has nothing to do with the game itself and it's all chance.

Yes kill stealing is a big problem! Well if you run into me you don't have to worry. I never steal kills. ;)

Yes kill stealing is a big problem! Well if you run into me you don't have to worry. I never steal kills. ;) I try not to steal kills. But if and when I do its to secure a kill. It's a pretty crappy feeling when your team loses the match because somebody "didn't want to kill steal."

I see your point well let me clarify. If someone down's somebody and that person is about to get up and the person who downed him is unable to kill him then yes I will take it. Other than that, no. ;)

i hate people that steal kills on purpose i will scream for somone to take the kill if i am not in a position to finish the person off but when someone just follows you and watches you wear out some opponent then right when he goes down starts shooting just really grinds my gears!

Always happens to me aswell man. If i steal a kill i'll message saying sorry and i dont mind having a kill stolen if theres no way i can get to it and it saves them getting up. I agree that the problem is the people who play this game, there used to be a code in this game. A unwritten rule book that people respected, theres none of that in this game. Its every man for himself and its a real shame
